Biography
Since she finished her B.S. education, Dr. Shi has always emphasized the synergy of work and study. She routinely did additional coursework and research to acquire new knowledge in different areas. In 2008, she obtained a M.S. of physics and chemistry and in 2014, she obtained a Ph. D in chemical engineering in Taiyuan University of Technology respectively. From 2017 to 2018, She was a visiting scholar of the University of Wyoming in the United States. Dr. Shi current major responsibilities include teaching inorganic chemistry and doing scientific research in heterogeneous catalysis. In recent years, she focuses on metal complexes loaded on microporous mesoporous and layered material for heterogeneous catalysis. As the first author and corresponding author, she has published more than ten pieces of journal papers recently. Ten pieces of patents has been authorized as the first or participate author. Her work was supported by the Natural Science Foundation of China, the Science Foundation of Shanxi Province, the Scientific and Technological Innovation Program of Higher Education Institutions in Shanxi, China Scholarship Council, and Youth Science Foundation of TYUT.
