Biography
Xu Wu is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the College of Chemistry at Taiyuan University of Technology. He received his M.S. degree in physical chemistry and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and Technology in Taiyuan University of Technology. His scientific research is mainly focus on the catalytic elimination and resource utilization of atmospheric pollutants. His work was supported by the Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and the Central Guidance Local Funds. As the first author and corresponding author, he has contributed more than 30 peer reviewed articles in Journal of Catalysis, Chemical Engineering Journal, ACS applied materials & interfaces, et al. Twelve pieces of patents has been authorized as the first or participate author. He has been served as the guest editor of Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology, Youth Editorial Board of Journal of Central South University (Natural Science Edition), Communication Evaluation Expert of National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as reviewers for several international journals including Journal of Catalysis, Fuel, Applied Surface Science and Applied Catalysis A: General et al. His teaching research mainly engaged in basic chemistry teaching and research. His work was supported by the Provincial Teaching Reform and Innovation Project and published in the journal of University Chemistry. As the first participant, Principles of General Chemistry was awarded the first batch of national first-class online undergraduate courses of , online as well as online and offline hybrid high-quality shared courses in Colleges and Universities of Shanxi Province , demonstration course of ideological and political education, special prize for teaching achievements. He obtained famous teaching masters in Shanxi Province.
